Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we have teamed up with the Marie Keating Foundation for the month. For every litre of home heating oil ordered online from October 1st until the 31st we will give 1% of the cost to the foundation.

A Bit About The Marie Keating Foundation 

Following their mother Marie’s death from breast cancer in 1998, the Keating family promised to try to provide the people of Ireland with vital information, which could help them to prevent cancer or detect it at its earliest stages.

The Marie Keating Foundation is now a leading voice in cancer awareness and information for both men and women in Ireland. The Foundation’s mission is to make cancer less frightening by enlightening and it’s aim is to achieve a world free from the fear of cancer.

The Marie Keating Foundation provides information on all common cancers, including breast cancer, cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, lung cancer, skin cancer, prostate cancer, testicular cancer, bowel cancer and bladder cancer.
