Campus Oil Ltd is one of Ireland’s leading oil distributors of Domestic Home Heating Oil, Commercial and Agricultural Fuel Oil. This job description outlines the role and responsibilities of the Domestic Home Heating Oil Sales Agent.

Location: Campus Head Office Bray

Reports to: Sales Centre Manager

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Domestic Oil Sales Agent will be responsible for selling Campus Home Heating Oil to new and existing Domestic customers in the Leinster region.

The Domestic Oil Sales Agent will have responsibility to negotiate with the customer to get the best possible price to close the sale.

The Domestic Oil Sales Agent will have responsibility for the development and retention of new and existing customers.

The Domestic Oil Sales Agent will take part in outbounding campaigns to retain business and to increase marketing permissions

The Domestic Oil Sales Agent will have to demonstrate a high level of customer service, providing “first call resolution” at every opportunity.

In conjunction with the Campus operations team, the agent will ensure customers receive a first class on time delivery service.

TECHNICAL CRITERIA:

  • 1 years sales experience in a fast paced service industry, ideally a call centre environment but not essential
  • Experience and ability to work under pressure while meeting targets set and ensuring attention to detail is maintained
  • Strong negotiation skills to achieve optimum results for the company
  • Fluent in English both written and oral
  • Proficient with MS Office including exceptional Excel Skills
  • Experience in oil industry is desirable but not essential

Commercial sales agents work four different shift times, flexibility for working hours and shift rotation is required.

  • Shift times are as follows:
    • 8am – 4.30pm
    • 9.00am – 5.30pm
    • 10.00am – 6.30pm
    • 11.00am – 8.00pm

Domestic Oil Sales Agents are required to work one or two Saturdays per month 9am – 1pm Saturday (Paid OT)
